Upon staying for two nights, I found the Rose and Crown to be a good retreat. The room exuded comfort with modern amenities, though accessing it via an external metal staircase posed a slight challenge in inclement weather. I cherished the fantastic breakfasts and cute atmosphere.

great stay but some accessibility issues
The accommodation included a lovely clean room. I appreciated the fridge and water station just outside the room-it was a thoughtful touch that added convenience.
Fire escape type stairs to reach the rooms may not suit everyone.

The room was modern with a spacious shower and a proper cafetière for fresh coffee. I appreciated the fridge stocked with milk and water. Breakfast and dinner were of high quality. The staff were great. I liked the thoughtful touches throughout. Everything felt carefully considered. Only downside was the noise from the busy road nearby. It woke me up early. I encountered some issues with breakfast timing but overall, the experience was very good.

The room was really nice, and we loved the good little touches like a communal fridge stocked with water and milk for our tea. Comfortable Stay with Great WiFi
We spent a night in a spacious double room with our children. The free WiFi was a lifesaver, keeping us all connected. Don't miss dining options. The atmosphere is warm, and the staff is friendly. Just be aware of spotty mobile data coverage in the area for payments!
